What is Reiki?
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive Japanese healing modality founded upon ancient energy healing principles originated in Tibet and India. The Japanese translation of reiki is "universal life force energy".
Exploring the Three Levels of Traditional Japanese Usui Reiki
In the realm of traditional Japanese Usui Reiki, a journey unfolds through three fundamental levels, each amplifying your capacity to channel the vital life force energy and offering a wealth of advanced healing techniques. These transformative stages are marked by attunements facilitated by a Reiki Master, infusing you with the power to harness this universal energy.

First Degree - The Awakening: At this initial stage, known as the "Awakening," you embark on your Reiki journey. The focus is on self-discovery and activating Reiki's healing potential within you. Reiki level 1 focuses on healing the healer first. You will learn how to do self-healing and dive deep into the body's energetic systems.

Certification Details- Reiki Level 1
WHEN: The training will consist of two full days of class on:
Saturday, January 20th, 11:30 pm- 5:00 pm
Sunday, January 21st, 11:30 am - 5:00 pm
(You must be able to be present for both full days on Saturday and Sunday.)
WHERE: The course will be held in person at a studio in Marina del Rey, CA
WHAT: This Reiki Level 1 Certification is a gateway to self-empowerment and holistic healing. As you embark on this enlightening journey, you will awaken to your innate abilities, and tap into the universal energy that flows abundantly around you. This certification is not just a training but an initiation into a lifelong journey of self-discovery and transformation.

Hi, I'm Katie....
It is said that Reiki Healing comes to you at the exact moment it is supposed to. Just like that quote, "When the student is ready, the teacher appears."
For me, Reiki has completely changed and shifted my entire life. My journey through the levels of Reiki Healing brought me back into alignment with who I am on a soul level. It was an evolution of my spiritual journey.
When I was young, I was always super intuitive and empathic. I remember sitting in the classroom and knowing what everyone else was thinking. I'm sure, on some level, you can relate. Somewhere along the way, as children, we were taught to shut down our intuitive abilities and block them out. It was uncomfortable feeling all the energies of others, and we were not taught how to handle them. I used alcohol as a big suppressor. It wasn't until 2020, when I got sober, that I realigned with my path and purpose, and I found Reiki Energy Healing. (Along with several other modalities.)
Learning this powerful modality, I have been able to not only heal myself but help heal others around me. It has also helped strengthen my intuitive abilities and connected me to my inner guidance system.

It has been a life-changing, transformational experience taking Katie Hutsel’s Reiki level 1 training course. I’ve never felt so in-tune with the universe, nor better prepared to bring the practice of reiki into my life.
